Diploma in Dental Technology (4 Years Duration)

IHT (Institute Of Health Technology) is a large and reputed institution in Bangladesh with a permanent campus with a well-stocked library, well-equipped and well-equipped classrooms, and laboratories. We are taught by qualified and experienced full-time teachers. Medical Related Subjects BDS Taught by Dr. S. Dental Technology is taught at the Institute Of Health Technology College of Medical Science and Technology under the State Medical Faculty and Diploma at IHT.

Admission Eligibility:

1. Minimum GPA 2.5 in SSC/Equivalent Examination with Biology from Science Department in case of  Dental Course under State Medical Faculty.

Internship Internship training is extremely important because the knowledge acquired through internship is aligned with the future workplace. The objective of this training is for each student to gain practical knowledge and application of what they have learned through the previous three years of practical classes. Also, field training has to be done in 7th and 8th semester. Internships are arranged for students in various reputed hospitals including Suhrawardy Hospital, Tongi Sadar Hospital, and Milford Hospital. The internship is done in 3rd year at IHT. IHT has a separate internship program of 5 months duration.

Higher education opportunities:-

There are higher education opportunities in B.Sc in Health Technology (Dental) in Government IHT under Rajshahi and Chittagong University. Also, there are opportunities for higher education in B.Sc in Health Technology (Dental) in private institutions under Rajshahi and Chittagong University.

There is a wide field of employment for those who successfully complete the course. Among them-

BDS (Bachelor Of  Dental Surgery)
